A Big Catch
I've never seen a no-hitter before!
That singular catch was a big deal. How big? It was the final catch in a combined no-hitter. I've never seen one of those, let alone a conventional no-hitter or a perfect game. It was simply fantastic! Congratulations to Corbin Burnes and Josh Hader! And a special award should also go to Omar Narvaez for being the catcher and Lorenzo Caine for a great catch in the 8th. Too bad Burnes' pitch count was where it was. If it was just 15 fewer heading into the 9th, I bet he'd have got the green light. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. And when you're a strikeout pitcher like he is, it's a bit harder to keep that count low.
