Arboretum Running
The classic six miler, with some photo commentary.
Mile 1: Wrong way on the one-way. Behind Edgewood. Up the slight hill to Monroe St.
Mile 2: Wingra Park, past the temple, mini-trails along Monroe St, Mallatt's Pharmacy, Duck Pond.
Mile 3: Up a long, slight hill, golf course on the left, big boulevard, missing sidewalk, banana peel hazard, Arboretum entrance, into the Arb, evil tree.
Mile 4: Visitor's center, climb up Mt. Arboretum, wild turkeys in the typical place.
Mile 5: Turtle crossing, lakeside running, marsh entrance.
Mile 6: Good use of backs of signs, Arboretum exit bridge, Vilas Beach, Vilas Zoo, Vilas Park. Vilas yahtzee.
