The Bucks lost in Feb to the Sixers right at the end, and this basically repays that favor. Man, so close.
Dang. Giannis just gets them sometimes. I really thought this one was going to go to the Sixers. The Bucks did that thing they love to do by going up by 10-11 early, then quickly blowing it and then some, and all of a sudden they're down by 10 at halftime. Or more commonly, that scoring lull comes in the third quarter. This time the Bucks won the 3rd by a little bit and went on a tear and were able to gets some defensive stops. The Sixers are really quite good though and got some really timely threes from Niang, and I think Embiid had one late too.
But that block, wow. Khris goaltended a little earlier in the game and that was obvious on the reply, but this one was just as obviously a block! I'm a little surprised the ref didn't see that but fortunately there was a review. And those are the best, insult-to-injury moments when the scoreboard goes backwards with under 2 seconds left in a hostile Philly arena.
