Coffee Cake

I need to attempt this for myself at some point. In the mean time, today's vegan cake from Heirloom Bakery (Ledger) was good. I've had my eye on this for a long time. It's an item only available on Wednesdays, and I think the Wednesdays I've started my day with a baked good, I've been hunting scones or the coffee cakes were sold out or unavailable. Finally I get one! Though I inhaled it with typical morning ferocity, I don't think I was blown away. But I might be forgetting coffee cake in general. This could be a good example of one, I'm not sure. I liked it a lot for what was though in front of me though and I'll be happy to get it again. Next time I'll probably be getting a scone though.
