Alert Days
Every day is an "alert day" – a term I vaguely understand to mean extreme weather. They declare alert days for snowy days, super hot days, super cold days, but I don't think they've really ever elaborated on the definition. Not even once.
To their credit, the weather people tend to get super enthusiastic when there's a run of bad weather and we're suddenly handed a reprieve.
Anyways, I'm going to spend a lot of time inside in the next week. Kind of like this past week, when there were only a few alert days.
