Happy 4th Anniversary!
Last year's Golden Strong Ale was awesome, the year before's Wheatwine was awesome too, so it's no surprise at all that this one is just plain awesome too.
I know Giant Jones has a dominant presence on this blog, but they're just a wonderful brewery and I'm looking forward to their annual anniversary releases for the next billion years, or however long this keeps up. Last year's Golden Strong Ale was awesome, the year before's Wheatwine was awesome too, so it's no surprise at all that this one is just plain awesome too. Extra Blonde and as mighty as this is, I have no choice but to consider this the Galadriel of beers. The label explains it and compares it to the Barleywine. Well there are two Barleywines and I think it's closer to the American one because it's a bit on the hoppier side. What an great and interesting beer!
