Holy Moly Round

I can't believe it. It was perfect weather and a near-perfect round (for me). I played the 27 hole course again and beat my last score by 10!

I really can't believe how well that went. I think I hit like 3-4 putts from like 40 ft. Only 2-3 times I missed the fairway on the drive. On hole 23 I spent 20 min looking for my disc and barely found it. I've happily avoided an extended search like that for a while, but even when I found it (and it wasn't a great lie at all), I managed to recover and finish the hole in three throws. I'm really glad I found that disc because I was really getting a good feel for it.

Story done, right? No. It just gets even more amazing. On hole 26 I probably got as close as I ever have to an ace!

The lie there doesn't capture of course how near it hit the chains. And the final hole I got even closer! I got within 5-6 feet but didn't have time to take a picture because some people were waiting. What a day, what a round! It might be a little sad that I really don't expect to be anywhere close to this score again for a long time. But who knows? Maybe there's still a little room for improvement!
