Lost Alphabets

It kept bugging me "Dalziel" is pronounced DEE-ell, and not DAL-zee-ELL. I'm still slowly making my way through that show. It's not bad. I could probably find something more compelling, but I'm sticking with it. Anyway, I came across an old article mentioning "Dalziel" is one of a number of unintuitive pronunciations of ancient words that used to be spelled with the letter "yogh".

Looking further, I found an article describing other long-lost letters.
