Mikalphellipedes

Mikalphellipedes

From March, 2014:

Sent from angry Poseidon, with head
and eyes gleeming, blasphemy he utters
twice, not once! while the hero lying in bed
sits and wonders were we not once brothers?

With over-ambition like Icarus,
he set out swiftly, but not at a rate,
planned carefully, worthy of Daedalus.
Zeus-stricken, for this there is no debate.

Spare us from Mikalphellipedes,
spawned from a cold, wicked land, and taught to be
a cruel, heartless, herald of Ares,
an awful man that never needs to pee.

So please don’t compare us, the hero must rest
the persians have left, and he did his best.
