RoP Episode 3

Númenor!

RoP Episode 3

Númenor! Finally, we see it, and my oh my it was everything I was hoping for. Just sumptuous scenary and a lot of court intrigue. I guess Galadriel is there, and that's a bit weird. I don't care, I love it. Halbrand has a violent edge to him.

Back in Middle Earth, Arondir is now an orc prisoner and forced laborer digging tunnels with other captured elves/men. Man, these orcs are quite nasty. Speaking of which, the scene with Bronwyn and Theo taking down the orc that showed up in their house was put together pretty well. Sure, it's the same scene from about 800 slasher/horror movies where the victim or would-be-victim is hiding, cornered, in a closet, but still it was great.

One thing that bothered me a little was the deliberate addition of bright red blood spatter and a dash of gore. I don't know, I just hope that doesn't escalate too much.

No dwarves this time?
