Sixers, Part Two
A pizza-worthy win, but still frustrating at the very end.
Fortunately that game finally ended. That last 6 minutes were brutal. Just. Make. A. Bucket.
Please.
Come on. You spend the first half with a hoop the size of a soccer goal, and the final six minutes it's shrunk to the size of a golf cup. I find these hot/cold shooting stretches the Bucks go on to be tear-your-hair-out stuff. Because it's not just one guy that gets cold, it's all of them. And the longer the stretch goes, the more it spirals into bad decisions on passes that get stolen or bad decisions on shots. Travels, passes out of bounds, offensive fouls. I think we saw all manner of bad play late in the game, and while I was hoping to come away super pleased and optimistic, the overwhelming feeling was just relief it finished. Another 3 minutes and we'd have been doomed.
