Still the King

Still the King

Lebron hits step-back threes from 30ft with a minute left.  Giannis fouls out, racking up 3-4 charges in the process.  Lebron gets an easy 34 points, cool as cucumber.  Giannis turns it over 9 times, about as panicky as you'll ever see him.  Can someone please show him how not to pick up so many charges?  Like 1/3 of his drives are resulting in a charge, and it's ridiculous.  Is that it then?  Is he well-and-truly figured out?  Is the jig up?

The Bucks really don't look very good compared to the last two years.  The bench is astonishingly bad.  And starters like DiVincenzo can't buy a lay-up.  Wing defense is non-existent.  Defense in the paint is a myth; it seems like teams can drive to the hoop at will.

Brook and Giannis have been massively disappointing.  Khris is about the same.  It's hard to tell if Donte is better or worse.  Thanasis is at worst a train wreck, at best a live wire.  The role players we used to have like George Hill, Ersan, even Robin Lopez, are sorely missed.
